Title: Claiming space. Intersectional perspectives from feminist and women’s rights movements and organizations
Oxfam Program : Research and Learning Project – Gender and Climate Justice

Objectives and deliverables:
Deliverable 1: Mapping report and database of feminist and women right’s movements and organizations working on the crossroad of climate resilience, climate justice, gender justice, racial justice and gender-just ecologic transitions as potential partners, including youth led feminist organizations.
Deliverable 2 : A paper summarizing feminist perspectives and policy recommendations (of around 30 pages). This paper should be co-created with feminist movements and organizations. It is expected for the consultants to be sharing a preliminary paper for feedback before producing the final paper.
a. Towards participation by feminist and women right’s movements and organizations in climate action, including a section on COVID-19 response and recovery
b. Towards transforming economic power and models
c. Recommendations and possible solutions (increased support to feminist organizations, increased funding, promoting a gender-responsible approach to climate financing, etc.)
d. Ways of working and empowering partnerships with INGOs and expectations
e. etc.Deliverable 3 : 3 to 5 Spaces for discussion and collaboration co-organized by the Consultant and the Oxfam Project Steering Committee. (Feminist and women’s organizations, Oxfam partners and staff, civil society organizations and policy makers and policy processes, Feminist convening). These will be on-line meeting of around 2-3 hours each.
Deliverable 4 : A five pages (maximum) report covering opportunities for joint collaboration and proposal development (including ideas on potential thematic areas, geographies and donors, and practical strategies). **
